Our objectives are to offer a high standard of dental care for the whole family and to help you minimise the need for treatment by following an effective maintenance plan based on the latest preventive measures and advice. We believe that this plan is the best way for you to budget for your dental care whilst benefiting from regular appointments.
Avalon Dental Care Plan
What does our plan include?
For adults aged 18 -25 years our plan costs £21.02 per month, for adults aged 25 years plus our plan costs £28.58 per month and covers:
- two comprehensive dental health examinations per year
- two hygienist visits per year
- small x-rays as clinically necessary
- 10% discount on all routine treatment
- diet and oral hygiene advice
- membership card with 24-hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
- eligibility to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme
For children aged 13 – 17 years of age our plan costs from £10.82 per month and covers:
- two comprehensive dental examinations per year
- two hygienist visits per year
- small x-rays as clinically necessary
- 20% discount on all routine treatment
- diet and oral hygiene advice
- membership card with 24-hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
- eligibility to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme.
For children aged 6 – 12 years of age our plan costs from £7.21 per month (eligible for a 20% discount) and covers:
- two comprehensive dental examinations per year
- two hygienist visits per year
- small x-rays as clinically necessary
- diet and oral hygiene advice
- membership card with 24-hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
- eligibility to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme.
Children 0-5 years are free with registered parent (not eligible for assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme).
The monthly plan cost includes the charges for management and administration payable by you to DPAS.
Please note that a one off registration fee of £10 applies to all dental plans.
Avalon Dental Care and Treatment Plan
Our plan is available from £24.42 per month and covers:
- comprehensive dental health examinations
- all hygienist appointments including scale and polish and periodontal advice
- all x-rays*
- all fillings
- all crowns and bridge work*
- all root canal treatment
- extensive preventative advice including diet and oral hygiene advice
- membership card with 24-hour helpline numbers for dental emergencies at home or abroad
- eligibility to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme.
*Exclusions apply (see below)
What is excluded from our plan?
Although non-routine services are available from the practice, some items fall outside the scope of the plan and are not covered by the monthly payment, namely:
- cosmetic dentistry
- referrals to specialists
- laboratory fees
- implants
- orthodontics
- panoramic radiographs
- OPG and CBCT scan
- endodontic files
Treatment not covered by this plan can be paid for separately.
