A message recording system operates whenever the practice is closed and will allow you to leave a message for a member of staff to contact you. We will do our best to provide advice or treatment as soon as possible.

During office hours, all emergencies will be attended to that day if at all possible, but please contact us before 10.00 am.

  • Please do not come to the practice.
  • Please contact us by telephone or email.
  • If the answer phone activates, please listen carefully to the message.
  • You will be advised to leave a message. Please do so and we will contact you as soon as possible. Remember to leave your name and contact telephone number, and preferably the nature of your problem.

Walk-ins at the practice

There may not be access for casual callers to the practice. We strongly advise you contact us by telephone or email to arrange or change appointments. As part of our quality commitment to our patients, we want to provide undivided attention to those attending for appointments. We are sure you would wish this for yourself.

Emergencies away from home

If you are away from home, then telephone the practice on 01293 616414 during office hours and we’ll advise you on how to proceed. If abroad on holiday, your holiday insurance will cover you for emergencies and should also find you an English-speaking dentist if required.

Emergency appointments for non-registered patients

If you are not a member of the practice and have a dental emergency, we may be able to offer a 30-minute appointment. During this time we will do all we can to assess and treat you if possible, otherwise we will stabilise the condition and make you comfortable. Unregistered patients can get emergency advice from NHS Direct on 111.
