Metal or fixed braces are simply not an option for many adults, whether for personal, social or professional reasons. Smilelign is the ultimate teeth-straightening treatment for anyone who doesn’t want their orthodontics to impact on their lifestyle. Unlike traditional braces, the Smilelign system involves wearing a thin, clear plastic aligner over the top of your teeth. The high-tech material makes Smilelign surprisingly comfortable to wear and virtually invisible in your mouth, which means patients are happier wearing them longer. And Smilelign is conveniently easy to remove for when you eat, brush your teeth or to even attend a special event.
How it works – easy as 1-2-3
- Visit Avalon Oral Care Centre for a consultation to confirm that you’re suitable for Smilelign clear braces.
- We will take impressions of your teeth, which will be used to create your bespoke clear aligners.
- Wear your aligners at least 22 hours per day for 2-3 weeks, then return to us for a new set of aligners. This process will be repeated until your treatment is complete.
